Using Data from Existing Listings
Have an Etsy Shop with items already listed? Sell on another platform (eBay, Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce) and want to add existing listings from there to your Etsy Shop using the Listing Upload Tool?
Below we have explained how you can EXPORT existing listings from any of the above-mentioned platforms. Save them to your computer and then copy and paste the relevant data from these Files into the Listing Uploader Tool.
Etsy
From your Etsy Shop Dashboard:
“Settings” > “Options” > “Download Data” > “Download CSV” > Save the File > Find & Open the file.
- Choose where you want to save your Export File
- Find your Export File > Copy & paste the relevant information into the Listing Upload Tool
- Continue to fill out all other information required
- Save the file with the updated data
- Go onto the [BRAND NAME] Website
- Find the ‘Upload Now’ button and select your Listing Upload Tool File

eBay
From your eBay Seller Dashboard:
Click “Listings” Tab > Select the Checkbox for Listings you want to Export > Click “Edit” > Click “Edit All Listings” (Allow time for it to load) > Select the Checkbox for All Listings > Click “Action” Tab > Click “Export to File” > Select “Export to CSV (spreadsheet Format)” > Click “Export”
- Choose where you want to save your Export File
- Find your Export File > Copy & paste the relevant information into the Listing Upload Tool
- Continue to fill out all other information required
- Save the file with the updated data
- Go onto the [BRAND NAME] Website
- Find the ‘Upload Now’ button and select your Listing Upload Tool File
Amazon
From your Amazon Seller Dashboard:
On the “Inventory Tab” > Select “Inventory Reports” > Select “Active Listings Report” > Click “Request Report” Button > Allow up to 1 hour for the Report to Generate > Under “Check Report Status & Download”, when the Report Status is "Ready" click the “Download” button.
- Choose where you want to save your Export File
- Find your Export File > Copy & paste the relevant information into the Listing Upload Tool
- Continue to fill out all other information required
- Save the file with the updated data
- Go onto the [BRAND NAME] Website
- Find the ‘Upload Now’ button and select your Listing Upload Tool File
Shopify
From your Shopify Admin Dashboard:
“Click “Product” > “All Products” > Click “Export” > From the dialogue box, chose the products you want to Export > Select which type of CSV File you want to Export (CSV File) > Click “Export Products”
- Choose where you want to save your Export File
- Find your Export File > Copy & paste the relevant information into the Listing Upload Tool
- Continue to fill out all other information required
- Save the file with the updated data
- Go onto the [BRAND NAME] Website
- Find the ‘Upload Now’ button and select your Listing Upload Tool File
WooCommerce
From your WooCommerce Admin Dashboard:
Click the “Products” Tab > At the Top, Click “Export” > You can select specific fields or leave as default to export all columns > Click “Generate CSV”
- Choose where you want to save your Export File
- Find your Export File > Copy & paste the relevant information into the Listing Upload Tool
- Continue to fill out all other information required
- Save the file with the updated data
- Go onto the [BRAND NAME] Website
- Find the ‘Upload Now’ button and select your Listing Upload Tool File
Please allow up to 6 hours for listings to update to your Etsy shop, it may take longer to upload depending on the volume of listings you’re adding or updating.
